Health and safety in the workplace are primary concerns for our company. For this reason, always focused on continuous improvement and the pursuit of the well-being of its workers, Cattini e Figlio has worked to obtain UNI ISO 45001:2018 certification.
The UNI ISO 45001:2018 standard “Occupational health and safety management systems – Requirements with guidance for use” defines minimum good practice standards for worker protection, being the first international standard for health and safety in the workplace.
It establishes a framework for improving safety, reducing workplace risks, and improving the health and well-being of workers, allowing organizations to proactively increase their health and safety performance.
Following the positive outcome of the evaluation for the issuance of certification of the Management System according to UNI ISO 45001:2018, Cattini e Figlio is therefore pleased to announce the issuance of ICIM Certificate no. ICIM-45001-050221-00 and its related IQNET Certificate no. IT-142795 ICIM-45001-050221-00, referring to the production plant of bevel gears.
Within the next two years, the company plans to pursue the same objective for the production plant of cylindrical gears and synchronizers.
This certification, as a result of third-party evaluation, is reliable proof of the Management System’s ability to meet specified requirements and achieve predefined objectives.
The path of excellence begun exactly 20 years ago with the achievement of QS 9000 continues: after IATF 16949:2016 and UNI EN ISO 14001:2015, the recently obtained UNI ISO 45001:2018 is the third qualifying certification of which Cattini e Figlio can proudly boast.
Inserted within the already proven integrated Quality/Environment management system applied by the company, we are confident that this further recognition will provide value to our organization and contribute even more to the trust of our customers.
